Tithe

In obedience to the head of the church, Jesus Christ, our method of obtaining funds to operate the ministries of Jesus, will be according to the Bible which is the giving of Tithes and Offerings (Mal. 3:8-11: 1 Cor. 16:2, Matt. 23:23).  

Each member would give in obedience to the command of Jesus to support the ministries in His church. According to 1 Cor. 16:2, it says, "Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him as God hath prospered him". The emphasis is on the individual. God made you individually. Your gifts were granted individually. Your soul was saved individually. In obedience and recognition and in appreciation of what God has done through Jesus Christ, we are to give individually.

Leviticus 27:30; Duet. 7-10, 18; 2 Chron. 31:5; Proverbs 19:17; Malachi 3:10; Luke 6:38; Luke 16:10-11; Romans 14:12.  Eccl 2:24-26, the best you can do with your life is have a good time and get by the best you can. The way I see it, that's it-divine fate. Whether we feast or fast, it's up to God. God may give wisdom and knowledge and joy to his favorites, but sinners are assigned a life of hard labor and end up turning their wages over to God's favorites. Nothing but smoke and spitting into the wind.
